Points of Discussion

Caregivers play a vital role in supporting individuals with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), yet their own experiences, challenges, and strengths are often underrepresented in research. The Caregiver Approaches, Resiliencies, and Experiences (CARE) Study, led by CanFASD, is the first national study of its kind to explore the realities of caregiving for people with FASD across Canada. In this webinar, Melissa Dobson and Dorothy Reid of CanFASD’s Family Advisory Committee, together with researcher Dr. Katy Flannigan, will share key findings from the study,
This session will provide an important look at the lived realities of caregivers, offering valuable knowledge for families, professionals, policymakers, and anyone interested in building stronger supports for the FASD community.
